Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

The Office For Catechesis (OFC) is pleased to invite all participants of current RCIA journeys to the following event:

Bishop’s Catechesis for Neophytes

Theme: Body of Christ
Date: Sat, 18 May 2019
Time: 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Venue: St Joseph’s Church, 620 Upper Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 678116

Purpose:

One of the specific competence and responsibilities of the Bishop is to teach the faith in its entirety in order to foster charity and communion among the faithful. The catechumens in the past had a fleeting encounter with the Archbishop once a year during the Rite of Election. This is insufficient for the catechumens to know the Archbishop and to hear from him. Therefore these talks are meant to let them hear the mind of the Church through the Archbishop. It is also meant to impress upon them the meaning of being a disciple of Christ, the need for conversion and the need to be part of the community, the Church.

This session, the third and final session out of a 3-part series, focuses on the theme of The Body of Christ.

For logistics purposes, kindly inform us how many will be coming from your parish by filling up the form in the link below:
