BCC – Catholic Social Teaching*

PREREQUISITE*
Participants are required to have attended BCC – Introduction to Morality prior to this course.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course seeks to introduce to the participants the Church’s teachings on matters of social justice, involving issues of poverty and wealth, economics, social organization and the role of the state. It aims to facilitate catechists in their understanding and practice of what it means to uphold their Catholic identity as agents for love, peace and justice, called to build a just society that respects the life and dignity of the human person.

CONTRIBUTION 

Course fees are waived 2019#

#Notwithstanding the waiver of contribution of course fees, participants are required to register for all courses and events to assist us in booking of appropriate rooms, printing of materials and arrangement of tea and snacks, etc. In the event of foreseeable no-shows, we encourage participants to inform the office in advance to help prevent wastage of resources. In the event of no-show, we encourage participants will be expected to bear the full cost of the course of $140/-

This course is recommended for catechists, assistant catechists, facilitators and volunteers working with youth and adults.
